CKS (Moderate Head Injury)

CKS (Moderate Head Injury)
Head injury is a neurological damage due to accidents that occur on the head as a result of trauma to the brain tissue that occurs as well as secondary effects of trauma that occurs due to collisions. we know this can be by check GCS, GCS if the patient is between 9-12 and decreased consciousness for about 24 hours even to a loss of memory, the impact of (CKS) is head injury can cause a person's amnesia due to a blood clot that led to the composition slightly swollen brain, customarily in the image slice Ct-Scan can be seen clearly.

Anatomi fisiologi We need to know about the weight of the brain in humans - about 1400 grams and is composed of approximately 100 billion neurons. The brain consists of four sections of the cerebrum (the cerebrum), cerebellum (the cerebellum), brainstem (brainstem), and diensefalon. Parts of the cerebellum is located in the posterior cranial fossa and in the dura mater is covered tent-like roof of the tentorium, which separates it from the posterior cerebral. Its main function is as a reflex center that coordinates muscular movements and refine, and change the tone and force of contraction to maintain a balance posture. The parts of the brain stem from the bottom up is the medulla oblongata, pons and mesensefalon (midbrain). Medulla oblongata is an important reflex centers for cardiac, vasoconstrictor, breathing, sneezing, coughing, swallowing, salivation and vomiting. Pons is an important link in the chain link that unites the pathway kortikosereberalis cerebral hemispheres and cerebellum. Mesensefalon a short section of the brain stem that contains aquedikus Sylvius, a tract of ascending and descending nerve fibers and nerve centers of hearing and visual stimulus. Diensefalon in the four regions, namely the thalamus, subtalamus, epitalamus and hypothalamus. Thalamus is the receiving station and an important subcortical integrator. Subtalamus function is not yet fully understood, but it will cause lesions on subtalamus hemibalismus characterized by movement of the foot or hand crashing strong on one side of the body. Epitalamus play a role in a person's basic emotional impulses. Associated with stimulation of the hypothalamic regulation of peripheral autonomic nervous system which accompanies the expression of behavior and emotion.
